About the event

SCCC is a faith based non-profit charitable organization anchored by a thrift shop that was started to empower the community through christian principles. Every Thursday evening the center also serves as a community kitchen, providing meals for those in need. This Thursday is the Eve of Christmas Eve and an extra special holiday meal will be sponsored by Plates On Purpose and the William A Leslie Jr (WAL) Foundation. We are excited to share the spirit of Christmas with our community.

This Thursday dinner will include a 3 course dinner menu, a gift raffel, photography by Lakeshore Photos, and a listening selection of lively holiday music! Bryson of Chef's Studio will lead our meal prep with a diverse offering that includes a salad, southern style greens and black eyed peas, grilled chicken legs, cornbread, and of course, pies! We'll also have Sorrel from Majani restaurant.

This will be a night to remember. Full of goodwill and good cheer. Due to COVID protocols, masks will be required and all meals will be packaged to-go. All guests and participants are asked to stay home if you are not feeling well.

This event is free to all but donations are accepted by visiting www.PlatesOnPurpose.com and using the Donate button.
